A video from the Media Library that plays inside the gallery item.
Add one
- Media source: click Add Media and pick a video file (
mp4,webm,ogg,ogv,mpeg,mpg,avi,mov,wmv,flv,mkv,m4v,3gp,ts,mts,m2ts). - Posts: in the project’s Custom Media → Normal, pick a video file.

Behaviour
- The item shows a play icon (Display Icon) and is treated as the Video format.
- In the lightbox the item plays the Video URL if one is set, otherwise the file itself.
- With a custom URL on the item, the link opens in a new tab and no lightbox is used.
- MP4 (H.264) plays everywhere; the browser decides about the other formats.
- Hover videos (Custom Media → Hover, or the Hover media of an image) play on hover only.
Video URLs (YouTube, Vimeo and the Pro vendors) are a different feature: they play in the lightbox only. See Project Formats.
