Managing Social Items

Imported social posts are available in the WordPress admin as Social Items. You can use this screen to:

  • review imported posts
  • edit titles and content
  • update featured images
  • adjust supported social item fields
  • move items to Trash
  • restore items when needed
  • add items manually

Managing Profiles

Social profiles are available in the WordPress admin as Profiles. You can edit profile data such as:

  • avatar URL
  • profile URL
  • username
  • biography or description

How Social Content Is Organized

Social content in Visual Portfolio is organized into separate admin data types:

  • Social Items for imported posts
  • Profiles for social account information

This makes it easier to manage imported content directly in WordPress while still using the same gallery workflow on the frontend.

Automatic Updates

  • Social feed items are synced automatically using WordPress Cron
  • Connected accounts are checked regularly
  • Imported media is downloaded to your Media Library and served from your own server
  • You can also run a manual sync from the Social Items screen

Manual Sync

You can sync all connected accounts from the Social Items screen. If needed, you can also recreate deleted items during sync.
