Yoast SEO, Rank Math and All in One SEO get gallery images in their XML sitemaps, and correct canonical URLs for the Portfolio page and its category and tag views.
Filtered, sorted and paged views on ordinary pages are marked noindex, follow. The Portfolio page’s paged and category URLs stay indexable. See Portfolio page.
