# Why does the filter show only “All” or nothing?

When no term qualifies, the filter is not printed at all. Which terms qualify depends on the content source.

- **Media** – no image has categories yet (Media Settings → Categories).
- **Posts** – no term of a category-like taxonomy has published posts.
- **Social** – imported items have no categories.
- **Taxonomies** – the filter is not supported.
