# Why are my images blurry?

Galleries use the Extra Large (VP) size (1920 px) for most layouts and Large (VP) (1280 px) for 4 and 5 columns, and the browser picks a smaller file for smaller screens.

If the sizes were changed after upload, or the images were uploaded before the plugin was installed, regenerate thumbnails with the Regenerate Thumbnails plugin. Images smaller than the size are never enlarged, so upload at least 1920 px wide for full-width layouts.
