# Which external services does the plugin contact?

- **Free, front end** – none of its own. YouTube and Vimeo players load when a video opens in the lightbox, and the Share button opens the network’s share page in a new tab.
- **Free, admin** – the WordPress.org update API.
- **Pro** – `api.visualportfolio.com` for license activation and update checks.
- **Pro social feeds** – the social networks’ APIs, with images downloaded to your server. Unsplash images are loaded from Unsplash’s CDN.
- **Pro login popups** – `visualportfolio.com` for Instagram, Unsplash, Dribbble, Twitch and VK.
