# Are my original images changed by watermarks?

No. Copies are created under `wp-content/uploads/visual-portfolio-pro/watermarks/` and served only in galleries that have Add Watermarks to Photos on.

Remove a watermark per image in the Media Library, or the whole feature in Settings → Watermarks. See [Watermarks](https://www.visualportfolio.com/docs/settings/watermarks/).
